Is the multibeam headlights option worth it over the LED highperformance headlights?

I agree that low beams could have been a bit higher, but at the same time I hate when Ford Explorers, Infinities, Corollas dazzle me with their badly setup low beams. Especially new Ford Explorer and Corolla - too high low beams.
The solution would be intelligent multi-beam, that instead of switching to low beam, would always stay in high beam while cutting off beams to avoid dazzling the oncomings

That is what the multibeam system is designed to do! At least thats how it marketed. The question is whether this smart, adaptive, supernatural and whatever other positive adjectives mb can conjure is what I will be getting when my car finally arrives in my hands. If its only auto high beam on and off I'll be pissed.

I juat took delivery of a w213 with the MB LED and was disappointed after I learned of these regulations. Can you give a little more information about what I would have to do in order to change the coding?

BTW, the LEDs on my c400 do "turn" into corners. It has the optional system available in 2015. Its simple to test for it, while stopped turn the wheel left or right more than a 1/4 turn, the additional turn lamps will illuminate. I would be surprised if the optional adaptive leds of the e class dont include that part of the system.

Same here, got a loaner with the multibeams and the only thing that works is the high beam, cool when it turns on with the curtain effect, but useless otherwise.
