I dont think the 63 should have many bugs. Though its a new model most of the components have been around for more than a year in other models. For example the digital diplays have been around since the S class remodel more than 3 years ago so has the 9 speed transmission, etc. Even the engine though "all new" borrows from previous v8 mb design. I think (and hope) the E class will benefit considerably reliability-wise from being the last model in the redesign cycle.

My lease on my E300 will be bought out at that time. I wasn't willing to try for a 2018 and have to debug the vehicle for 6+ months. My current ride has been bug free (with the exception of a VPC screwup setting up my internet access). I am fully optioned now. The new car will add night package, performance seats, carbon-fiber exterior accents, 3-zone a/c, 20"wheels, 3d Burmester. I expect the MSRP to be around $110,000.

It will be nowhere close to $110K as optioned. (As Ned knows, fully optioned E43 is $91K). E63S, as optioned, will be well north of $120K.
