Few Issues....

Hey Guys hows everyone doing.

Brought my car in for the 2nd time for same issues.

The seat is making weird noises (the upper part)will squeek when pressed against it,the lower part will move about half a cm forward when taking off and again when coming to hard stop.

The Internet in the car feature works when it will,it give me a lot of error messages.
The Service provider Vodafone and Swisscom say its an issue with the car,and Mercedes says the opposite.
Sometimes it works and mostly it does not.Vodafone says my car keeps deleting the sessions...?

The Nav System will tell me to turn left in a Tunnel
When the Pilot is switched on,and you drive on the freeway the system reads the Speed limits and will adjust speed accordingly.Except sometimes it feels like it need to drive 60 kmh per hour and of course there is no 60 kmh speed limit anywhere...Kinda dangerous.

Whats funny is that the Dealer will of course say that they can not find any flaws with it...Typical.

Has anyone experienced similar issues and what has been done about it.

Thank You

Rent a dealer service tech for a few hours and take him for a ride

My heater/boiler at home had the same problem. When the utility service tech came out it started perfectly. He replaced a pressure switch a week later and it works perfectly every start up?

My seat is squeaking too. Dealer replaced some rear internal plastic panel but it's made no difference. It goes in for first service this month so I'll ask for it to be looked at again. Seat base doesn't move though like yours.

I've switched the features off that reads speeds signs and adjusts adaptive cruise settings. It was reading the "limited to xx kph/mph" signs on backs of trucks. A lot have 50mph round speed stickers on their back end and I'd frequently get braked from 85 down to 50 when passing lorries that have them. Very annoying.

So now it does not read the signs at all, correct?
i kind of need that here in Switzerland where the speed limits change so often it gets confusing....

The speed limit still shows on dash and sat nav, but the cruise speed doesn't automatically adjust. I prefer that to the sudden braking on motorway.

Go to vehicle menu then assistance. Then traffic sign assist and then turn off speed limit pilot.
. Same menu let's you have speed displayed in driver and COMAND displays and let's got set visual and audible alerts if you exceed limit by whatever amount you choose

Interesting, I did not know that there is an audible alert that can be set higher than the speed limit. I guess this option comes with the speed limit pilot only, not with the speed limit assist (that reads and shows speed limit signs)?

Is it possible to adjust the speed limit pilot too to make the car drive e.g. "at speed limit + x miles per hour"?

You mean so that it beeps not at speed limit but let's say 5kmh higher than the speed limit

I set mine 3 mph/5kph above posted speed limit as it's rare to find cameras set lower where I am. But I haven't set the audible limit as I don't often drive in new areas. If I do a road trip I may turn on audible to help avoid a ticket.

That limit doesn't change speed pilot, that just sticks to legal limit and changes according to whatever speed sign it has read.

Yes, this could be a useful feature. I don't think the speed limit pilot is useful if it sticks to the actual speed limit as explained above (specifically when taking into account the fact that the speedo reading is always higher than the real speed).

If/since the adjustable alert only comes with speed pilot, it could make the speed pilot useful even if not used as active CC.
