The e63s is "only" £90,000 after some essential options are added in the UK. And that's after 20% tax has been added. Take off the tax and with the low exchange rate it's only 93000 USD. You could opt for the edition 1 special and all the carbon bling for about 30,000 extra.

£90K won't even get you the base E63 (non-S) in any market anywhere in Europe. UK car prices are still running on pre-brexit sterling basis....at some point something will give. The Irony is that after bring the opposite for many decades, UK cars are now some of the cheapest in the world

I know. Used to be 10 to 20 percent cheaper on the continent but with sterling sitting in the basement our prices look rather attractive to those abroad. But in the scheme of things (average salaries, price of food etc.) the price point seems reasonable at the local level.
I wonder if we're now getting Germans calling up UK dealers asking them to supply left have drive, the opposite of what savvy UK buyers did 10 years ago?!

I cannot imagine the price here in france given my 220d 4matic estate is 77,000 euro. Ok I will have a very well specced model inc air suspension towbar (1100 euros😉
burmester driving package etc when it arrives in june but it costs more than many houses where i live!
Plus to register this car as a first owner there will be a one off direct tax payment of 10,500 euro given its poor co2 rating and a further 350 euro for the registration papers........ we in europe pay a lot to drive polluting cars!
in comparison the tax on the 220d with 126 g co2 is a bearable 145 euro.
