Command slowwww??!!

I have a 17 E300 with P3. The Command is very slow to "wake up". When I get in my car, and start it, the nav can take a couple of mins to fully load, and the stereo in the Sirius mode can take a while to show the station with metadata. Quite annoying. My 2017 GLC with the older command system fires up immediately, as did my 2015 S550. Is there a firmware/software update for this?? Anyone have these issues? Thanks

I have my E300 with P1 and some other stuff and I notice my navi is especially slow. The radio is noticeably slow but not enough to where it bothers me, but the navi is really slow. I haven't heard of any updates yet.

Certainly does take about 45 seconds before I can change radio stations after starting the car

That's great when you just want the rear view cam if you're starting her up and ready to back out

I've never noticed any significant delay with the backup camera.

But the nav and radio functions are annoying. I was planning on getting an 18 S class around Christmas, but if these issues persist, I'll have to pass.

Correct, the camera doesn't seem to have any problems. They fire right up when you start the car.

My nav was sluggish as hell and started to drive me crazy. After a map download froze at 66% installation I had the software and firmware (I think) updated at the dealers and it made a big difference. It's still slow, like second generation budget android phone slow, but it's just on the sane side of slow. Still ridiculously slow for a modern car. Although pure conjecture, I belive the screens resolution became very high later on in the design process and the hardware just can't push those pixels around quickly enough. Though that still wouldn't explain sluggishness with radio (I don't notice many issues there, it's mainly loading nav that's slow as hell).
