MB Advisors
Hello
I received an email earlier today to join MB Advisors and I was wondering, what is it? Is anyone else a member? What perks and stuff do we get out of it if approved? I applied to join and it said it takes 3 business days to decide if I'm in or not. Any info on this would be good.
The email is as follows:

You might want to post this on other threads as most MB Advisor members come from other models.
Not sure how many people belong to it, but it is not very active compared to a few years ago. Site seems to indicate there are 226 members. Maybe other platforms have replaced it?
Recommend you join, but don't expect a lot. It will give you input directly to MBUSA that you do not have elsewhere though.
Periodically you can get rewards, such as discounts on MB accessories.
They periodically do surveys to determine what members think.
Current one is on whether or not MB should import thier four door luxury pick-up (X Class) to US.
It also sometimes provides early information on what MB is doing.
My recommendation: Do it while you can. It is by invitation only.

I hold the distinction of having been one of a handful of members who have been thrown off of MBAdvisors. I guess I flew a bit too close to the sun in my criticism of MB. However, with 13 brand new, higher end MB purchases--and being a certified car nut, I felt that I sort of had a right to get in their case, but they couldn't handle it and they cut me loose. I say take them up on their offer and then, GIVE THEM HELL. Tell them exactly what you think about their products. Don't mince words and don't kiss their ***. If they dump you, you'll always be welcome here.

I am a member. El Cid is correct it is not as active as it once was. In the past, we were invited to special events and also to focus groups. I remember one event was the intro to the then new GL at the NYIAS as well as a a study on speaker induced engine sound. MB recently redesigned the program and web access.

Thanks for the info. I do like the idea of doing surveys because I do believe surveys are the best form of feedback. Also I got an email today form them to schedule a phone interview so I'm not sure if that is a good sign or not.
