Remote Parking Pilot
Just added a three year subscription for the feature in Mercedes Me and I just love it.
Never thought that it would be useful, but now that I have it I have changed my mind

It looks really cool when I parallell park the car with my phone standing on the sidewalk, when the parking is done, car turns itself off and locks the doors.

Yet Teslas have been doing this in the U.S. for nearly three years. So I am skeptical about the reason MB claims this feature is not activated in the U.S.

New for the 2018 model year are the E400 4MATIC Sedan and the most powerful E- Class of all time, the Mercedes-AMG E63 S Sedan.
For 2018, the world's most intelligent sedan offers additional elements of luxury: two new wood trims with matching center consoles, soft-close doors, illuminated door sills with Mercedes-Benz lettering and Active Multicontour Seats with a massage function. The rear seat receives available Rear Seat Entertainment, Comfort Adapter and 3-zone climate control.
The way I read the release (dated Aug 4, 2017) Remote Parking Pilot won't even be available on the 2018 model but will be available "...in a later model year." As I recall that is exactly what they said about Remore Parking Pilot when the released the U.S. 2017 model.
Remote Parking Pilot: For the first time, this system allows the vehicle to be moved into and out of garages and parking spaces remotely using a smartphone app, enabling the occupants to get into and out of the car easily, even if space is very tight. Remote Parking Pilot will be available in the US in a later model year.

Car got stuck half way through as it saw the curb as an obstacle...
so a message kept popping up saying "check surroundings"
Though only when I got back into the car I could see what the problem
was on the car screen as the phone does not give any specific info
Pretty w*nk all in all
I wish Parking Pilot would use the lines on the road as well as the other surrounding cars.
