unless you have hooked something up that drains the battery when parked
(like a dashcam for instance), this is not normal.
a new battery should easily last at least 3 years

Completely different car & electrical system, but my 2015 E350 went through 3 batteries in 2 years. According to MBUSA it's "operating as designed."

in my last E I had TWO DUAL cameras hooked up with parkingmode activated.
I had it cut off at 11.6v, which is very bad for the battery as it's almost empty at this point.
I still managed to get almost 3 years of life out of it though, before it died just a few months before the lease was up.

I just got a 2018 E400 that sat on the dealer's lot for 5 months. Can the W213 be charged with a CTEK trickle charger via 12 volt? If so, is there one with the W213 because i dont have one in the front but has a 12 volt in the back. Im not sure though if it is hot.
