Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade a E200D (2lt 150HP) engine to E220D (194HP)?

I have not studied these two models but quickly checked that both engines are at least using the same turbocharger. Quite likely the engine control unit SW is the only difference between the two models. In this case it is only a matter of time before engine tuners come up with a solution that converts a 200d into a 220d (if not more than that). Higher than 220d power is possible because tuners do not care about emissions after the tune-up. Cars still pass existing MOT tests.

I have no knowledge if a "chip tuning solution" already is available for the W213.
