I've had a sunroof for ten years and never even open the shade, let alone the roof itself. Too bright, too hot and/or too noisy.

In the US the sunroof is standard. The only non-sunroof models available are the very high cost Guard models.

Comes free wth the car . I don't mind having it (probably good for resale value). But I will never use it. And I did not order the optional pano.

The exterior of your E300 is exactly how mine looks. You have good taste.

The one thing that I really don't like about the Pano is the inability to tilt the roof open (vent) without fully opening the shade. This can be done very easily with the normal sunroof and the shade state closed.

Also, Im bald, and I can actually feel the direct sunlight through the shade...except on the S-Class. Therefore, as much as I like the looks...I would never opt of the Pano unless it was the only choice.
