Carplay- weird issue

Hey all,

Have a new E300 and CarPlay is doing something odd.

Car is running, and radio is playing. I plug in the iPhone, and CarPlay starts- but no audio. The Now playing screen shows its playing something- but no audio.

If i pull the cable, and plug it back in- then audio comes through.

Is there a step somewhere I'm missing, or is this just some bug I'm lucky enough to (consistently) hit?

Carplay integration is a problem with MB.

Same thing is happening to me. I found that by switching to radio and then back to media also solves the problem, without having to unplugging the cable.

I just tried CarPlay today; whenever I use Siri the volume is super loud. I tried turning the volume down with the buttons on the steering wheel, but it will reset itself the next time I use Siri again. How do you adjust Siri volume?

same problem here and like the previous poster, switching to radio and back to carplay music seems to resolve the issue. carplay integration seems buggy

Concerning Siri volume, when Siri is talking lower volume.

I think that Siri and BT volume is independent of radio volume.

When I hear Waze through BT, I can quickly lower the volume before it goes back to radio volume.

I see the green phone icon on the top of the screen when the volume is the BT volume.
