The Echo Dot fits perfectly in the cup holder. My plan was to connect it to the mercedes built in wifi and bluetooth. While the dot connects just fine to bluetooth speakers, I can't get it to synch with the mercedes thru bluetooth. Any suggestions?

I would love to know the same. Does anyone know if it has something to do with the settings in the Command Menu?

I am interested in this topic as well but I don't have the same model or version of comand. First thought would be the pairing code. Unfortunately, Amazon states that the Echo Dot does not support speakers that require a pin to pair. Whereas, MB pairing involves a direct handshake of pairing codes. You might find better help on forums dedicated to alexa or sites like reddit if there is a workaround.

I might use the 3.5mm audio cable available on my W212 media interface cable as an alternative.
