I've never seen a model year listed in the configurator.
The prices and package contents are different from the 2017 model. For example the base price is higher; the lcd instrument cluster is part of P02. I did a configuration that matches the 2018 E300 I'm picking up next week. The equipment and prices match the Monroney sticker.
Currently there is no E400 sedan for the US market. Perhaps it will arrive later in the model year.

E 43 is becoming an even better value!
I just configured an E 300 to somewhere similar to my 43 It rang up to 79K!!! Now the difference among the 300 and the 43 has shrunk to 10K when similarly equipped. More reason for the E400 to be superfluous. And..... finally rear AC and dynamica headliner is available for the 43. 2 options I would have liked

I am unable to use the "Build" feature for a 2018 E300 sedan. I can get to the page where you select colors, but the page is frozen. It's been like that ever since the update to the 2018 model. So, I configured a 300E 4-Matic. The system shows that you cannot order either of the Designo interiors with a Luxury trim car, which just can't be right.
My feeling is that this is yet another tech glitch from the geniuses in the MBUSA IT department. Honestly, the ENTIRE MBUSA web site SUCKS compared to sites in almost any other country. Amazing!

What OS and browser are you using? I'm using Windows 10 build 16251.rs3 and Firefox 54.0.1 (64 bit). The configurator works for me. I just built an E300 sedan that exactly matches the one I'm getting delivered this week.

I'm working with my iPad, which is where I do 95% of my work. The Configurator has always worked before with my iPad.

Like streamliner, I haven't been able to use the E class build since you guys brought this up a few days ago. I also can scroll through the different pages of the build, but they are all grayed out and I can't select anything. All the other builds for every other class work. I am using safari on my mac

Why the hate? If anything, they should worry about safari users. I would argue that Apple is just like MB in that they are both status brands. If someone did the study, Im sure the customer base is pretty similar

Sorry about that. I get a little carried away sometimes, my apologies. I still think this is a ridiculous comment about Safari. Apple products, running Safari, are mainstream. Everywhere you go, people are using iPads, iPhones, MacBooks, etc.

That's the thing tho...no hate per se from me (although a certain poster above seems to really hate MB). I'm typing on an iPad now. Even this site doesn't play well with Safari and frequently freezes on my iPad but works fine on my desktop. If the iPad can't handle JavaScript I don't see how that's a concern of MB..

The Configurator is fixed. I have a confidential contact at MBUSA. I told them about the problem and now the Configurator works flawlessly with my iPad. Oh, and you can, indeed, now configure a Luxury trim E300 with the Designo interiors.
