AutoVin Lease return experiance
Has anyone return a car recently and had Autovin inspect the car? my lease is up and I need to know how strict they are and what peoples experience is with the car.

Turned in a 2014 Lexus GS350 in July and had AutoVIN come to my house for an inspection. The inspector was extremely thorough, spending over an hour looking at the car and taking pictures. Only damage found was some wife-induced curb rash on one of the wheels.
What he showed me on his laptop was every manufacturer had a different criteria for the inspection, along with what is acceptable wear and tear. The inspector will let you know if you have damage passing the manufacturer's threshold. I would also highly recommend reading the lease turn in guide for the manufacturer of the car you are turning in.
It was a happy ending for me, I ended up having to only pay the $350 Lexus disposition fee. Good luck on your turn-in.
