As you can see, the lower 48 are covered as well as a some limited areas across the border. 99% of Canada is not.

Does anyone here receive traffic info from SiriusXM on his W213 ?
Sirius Traffic works where I live (Montréal area) BUT I’ve just been told by MB Canada that there is no traffic option available anywhere for the new E-Class.

I live in the US and have a 2018 E400 Coupe. I just took a look at my car and in the settings there are multiple options regarding traffic. Also, one of the options shows my traffic subscription as active and gives the end date.

I have a Canadian E43...
I have a Canadian E43 and can confirm that the Traffic option does NOT work in the US.
I spend a lot of time in the US with my vehicle and subscribed with SiriusXM USA...I even paid for the extra Traffic option. After many attempts the Traffic function will just not work. I was told that the unit NTG 5.5 that is in my car does not have the right chip to make the Traffic function work.
I was wondering as well if the US vehicles have the Traffic function working and what exactly is different with the US vehicles that would enable this function???

Are you sure it's SiriusXM and not TomTom or another provider?

Took a look at the settings on my E400. Subscription information display indicates TomTom. Also has settings for traffic sign, traffic incidents, listed under map content. Under traffic map has settings for free flow and traffic delays.

Trafic info and new E-class (canada)
I have a 2017 E-class and after a lot of back and forth with Sirius, the MB dealer and MB Canada, i can confirm that live traffic isn't offered on the E class via Sirius
MB Canada was planning on offering live traffic via the Mercedes Me service but apparently this service will only launch with the 2018 model year... and there won't be a retrofit option for the 2017
the only way to get live traffic info is via Apple CarPlay or the equivalent Android version
