Multi-beam in Canada?
It's okay to remove the OBD2 plug after the screen resets, so that should be fine.
I would email Vladimir and ask him what you should do next. You can reset back to factory standard and try again, but he may need to give you a reset file first. Vlad is very responsive and should email you back quickly. He will also ask you for the log file that is generated after the upgrade so he can check whether it worked or not.
My experience after couple of dark highways rides that I did to test it. The auto sign is there, blue sign is kept on. But I can see the light toward the car in front of me is less. Also, in curvy road I see the lights moving with me which is cool!
overall he is really a great guy to deal with and supportive.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

Plus ... considering the price once converted to CDN Dollars ... I’m now quite happy with my E300’s lighting.

Current regulations ban this technology in North America. Though Canada is actually in the midst of allowing this technology through amendments in their Motor Vehicle Regulations (http://www.gazette.gc.ca/rp-pr/p1/20...l/reg2-eng.php) but that has yet to be approved or put into motion.
So I'm curious as to why MB is offering the multibeam on the E-class now. Since they are not allowed, I'm assuming they do not function as they are intended to--perhaps MB is under the loops knowing that they can eventually offer this and a simple software to allow it to function at 100%? I don't know.
Anyone know more about this?
Thanks

And I'll trust that someone won't pull out the "if you can afford a Benz, you can afford ______". It's because of frugality that I have the opportunity to have the car I do. Paying that much for something the car technically already has and just needs a "flip of a switch" is personally just too much for me. That said, it's worth it for many others and hey that's great for them, and Vladimir's business too.

Can I suggest you review the CAD/USD exchange rate over the past ten years? Once at par, CAD has most recently been 25%-35% below par. EVERYTHING is now more expensive for Canadians.

you can try but I'll not refund you
