First Class Wheel and Tire Protection "Plus"
The brochure mentions: "covered road hazard — such as a pothole, nail, tree limb, or other debris." Has anyone had a wheel repaired or replaced due to curb damage?

How much is it? I've had a few rims fixed that were dented. It was about $95 to bend the rim back, guy also charged $20 to mount and balance the tire so $115 to fix one tire. It's a separate charge to clean up and refinish a wheel. Used OEM wheels range from $150-$250 and up on ebay depending on the style. MB list prices can be in the $800-$1000 range or more for one wheel. Car had a constant vibration at speed that I thought might have been motor mounts, but it was the bent wheel.

I live in Louisiana I can’t tell you how many tires I got replaced or wheels I got fixed with the wheel and tire protection. It was the best money I spent. In three years of having it I definitely got at least 2 sets of tires between the potholes or curbs that I hit.

MB tried to sell me wheel & tire coverage for $2,200. For that amount I can purchase 3 full sets of Pirelli OE tires. I've never bent or broken a wheel in over 50 years of driving. Run flats are not repairable in general and specifically Pirelli tires.

Wheel damage is going to be related to driving speed and more importantly road conditions - in warm weather climates it's not much of an issue - up here in teh Northeast - different story
