Manually Activate Cameras

Checked today. You cannot manually activate the 360. You can activate all the other views manually using the camera button on the center console except the 360 which is automatically activated only when the sonar beeps activate or when comming out of park. Just slow down also set the parking warning to "early" in the additional audio settings.

I would like to manually active the cameras as well. A work-around I do when I'm pulling into a parking spot and need the cameras is to put the car in reverse and then put it back into drive. This will keep the cameras on as long as you are driving slow enough.

Just push the parking spot scan button and swipe the pad right, then you will get 360 view and the desired view to the right, preferably the front wheel view in my case.

Vic you can activate any of the cameras but not the 360 degree view. If you press the camera button, the 360 view will show an animation of the radar sensors, the 360 view will only activate when the proximity sensors start beeping. If you know of another way let us know.

That said, speed is critical when activation takes place. Mine works under 15 mph otherwise it shuts off immediately.

I got it to work! The default view seems to be the animation, but when I scroll I can select any of the parking assist views - 360 in left pane and front/rear/surround in the right pane.
