The sales man just called me to ask how do I like the car so far? When I have mentioned that I'm still breaking in, he told me that only AMG models should break in.
I know that he's wrong

One more question please (I'm going through the manual but it takes a while to complete). Today I drove on a freeway between 62-100 MPH. From time to time, when a shift came up, I felt two quick kicks from the throttle paddle.
I doesn't seems like a failure. It seems like an intentional behavior.
Can someone tell me what it is?
Thanks

Another annoying issue. Whenever I start the car, I get a message with an image that "someone" needs to buckle his/er seat belt (I'm the only one in the car and buckle the seat belt before turning on the car).
I can dismiss the message by pressing on the button that browses the driver's console but why does it show up or how can I disable it?

The fully loaded E200 costs about 64,000 JD, or 93,000$.
The fully loaded E350e cost 59500 JD, or 85,000$.
the reason for the high prices are the customs, customs on the E200 exceeds 20,000 JD, or 29,000$.
There is no customs on the E350e, but there is tax which could exceed 8,000 JD, or 12,000$. 😀😀

In which countries are you??
when i mention fully loaded it does not mean fully loaded, in mercedes jordan they do not bring to stock cars with distronic plus, head up display, lane change, etc.. if someone wants them he should preorder, which requires long time of waiting, no one do that.
my car is the most optioned car in town ( according to the dealer), mine got the 360 cameras, panorama, multibeam, night package, designo interior, widescreen, wireless charging, comand. It costed 63,000 jd or 90,000$.

I see. We do not get the night package and wireless charging but we do get all of the pilots and distronics. No heads up display. Not sure what's designo interior.

I noticed your E has a chrome strip along the length of the rocker panels......
In North America, that chrome strip is only available on the E63s......
Yet, you have no chrome strips on the two horizontal slats in your front air dams....
Those chrome pieces are standard in north america.....
Weird......
Those anomalies drive me nuts.......

How many miles on the battery are you guys getting? I have the c350e and I get about 11 miles on pure battery and about 35mpg without battery on hybrid mode. The two kicks you feel when you press the gas is the heptic feedback telling you to take off your feet off the gas pedal as its not necessary and waste of gas.
Do the car get taxed since its electric in Israel, I've heard they are tax free to import?

But it is annoying.
I have test drove the BMW 530e. Decided to go for the merc because it was better in overcoming bad paved roads. In engine/moving from electric to petrol/engine transmission, the BMW was way better.
Don't get me wrong, I love the merc and has other advantages over the BMW amongst all the interior design is way better in the merc

As much as I know, although what MB states, it shouldn't be a lot more than 11 miles. Maybe 13-14. I haven't bought this car for the low fuel consumption but because it was the cheapest E class here without getting the weakest engine. I use the electric engine to get the extra power rather than to save fuel. This also answers your other question about taxes in Israel. For a petrol engine you'll pay 116% taxes, for a hybrid 54 and for a plug in hybrid 42. The E350e is way cheaper than the E200 with the same packages checked.
As for the two kicks, sounds reasonable but then again why does it alerts me when I set the drive to sport and why doesn't it happen in comfort or sport and sport+?
