I have a quick lighting question. Does the symbol above the roller knob to adjust the instrument panel brightness, which is next to the lighting switch, illuminate (see the photo below)? In my car all the symbols on the lighting switch light up but this one does not. I am going in for winter tires and want to point it out if it is supposed to light up.

 

Correct...this controls the instrument panel brightness on your dashboard...and for whatever reason MB decided not to make it illuminate.
