Your vehicle does not have Driving Assistance Package Plus.
This screen is only for those who have Driving Assistance Package Plus, and it shows the distance that is programmed into Distronic Plus.
DAP+ includes Pre-Safe Plus, BAS+ with cross traffic support, pedestrian collision avoidance, active blind spot assist, active lane keep assist, Distronic Plus with steering assist and Drive Pilot.
Here's what the screen would look like if you had radar sensors on the car. This is from my 2015 W212, but the display on the W213 is similar.
Displayed here:
1) The highest dot represents what speed I have Distronic set to as a maximum.
2) The lowest dot indicates the speed of the car in front of me.
3) The needle shows what speed my car is currently at
4) The distance of the car in front of me
5) The white bar across the virtual road and highlighted towards the right is the programmed following distance of the car. This is adjustable by twisting the cruise control stalk tip, and this distance changes based on speed and conditions.
6) The green steering wheel indicates the car is steering. It turns white if the car isn't sure where it's supposed to be going.
The nice thing is that the display is always available, even if Distronic isn't turned on. I find this quite useful in inclement weather, especially fog or heavy rain. There's been more than a few times where I was relying upon the fish finder because conditions were bad enough that I couldn't see all that well in front of me.
