I would have ordered a E400 sedan had I known the sedans were ready. We didn't want a coupe. What options did you go with?
Keep in mind that the VPC must also do software updates many of which are unique to US models.

I forgot to ask my dealership about the transportation prep sheet, but the amount of things done to these cars from the time they leave the factory is quite extensive. For some vehicles, VPC practically rebuilds them.

I am surprised the amount of items on these vehicles that are done at the port. I received my GMC 3500HD Denali in January that had been built in November and shipped to a holding facility in Michigan. Then when the dealer received it much of the "accessory" items were boxed in the bed of the truck and installed by the dealer.

My car arrived at the port on Saturday, dealer told me it has now cleared customs and is in the hands of the VPC. The dealer says they have been promised that sold cars will be delivered this week. Dealer is still saying I will be able to pick mine up on Friday. Hard to believe I have been waiting since end of July for my E400 sedan with P3, with Napa leather.

What port is your car at? I know how you feel man. We ordered on June 22nd and our car just arrived at port yesterday. I highly doubt it makes it to the dealer before the New Year. Ours anyway.....

WellCar didn’t arrive for Friday, was supposed to be Saturday, but truck didn’t show up, so now it will be Tuesday. The dealer gave me a loaner car since I sold my car expecting the new one. Certainly not a fun deal.

Same here. It was released for carrier on the 28th and I was told it would be here in 72hrs or less. Then today I was told Tuesday....lol I'm used to broken promises from my MB dealer so it came as no surprise.
