Awaiting delivery on my new E300 and wondering where to plug in my radar detector. Car has 2 USB ports but no cigarette lighter.

I like my 300E but the lack of a plug in front is one of many poor design choices. The easiest and cheapest solution is to buy a cigarette lighter extension cord on eBay or elsewhere and run it from the back seat lighter socket trying to hide it as much as possible.

Simple, go to amazon and buy a USB to 12 volt adapter. 8 bucks. My redline detector works great with it.

I don't have a back seat lighter socket. Mine is 110v AC. Does anyone need a lighter socket? All of my car gadgets are USB.
