headlamp washer ?

headlamp washer ?
May I assume the W213 no longer has headlamp washers , like the W212 E class ?

I think they went away a few years ago on the W212.

I was just curious, as I had a W212 which had the washers, and I have not seen any mention of them for the W213

When they got rid of the Bixenons in 2014 and went to LED, the headlamp washers disappeared. The 2010-2013 W212 had the headlamp washers. I think they're still there on the S class.

I dislike headlamp washers any, but I dont live in a snowy climate. the amount of overspray is ridiculous. In addition, since they were activated via the windshield washer when the lights were on, I had to manually turn off my headlights at night every time I wanted to wash my windshield.

Not sure which car you had, but that's not how they worked on the W211 or W212. On the W211, they came on every 5th time that you used the windshield washer fluid. So both sprayed, there was no need to turn off the lights. They later changed that to every 10th time on the W212. Earlier W211 had a button (2003-2007) on the dash where you could just activate the washers.

oh, every 5th time sounds familiar. I was getting confused with my Lexus. Either way, hate the over spray so much Im so afraid to get them activated!

My 2015 E350 didn't have them. I've never encountered a situation where I needed them, but I don't take my E-Class off-roading either.

They're probably only useful in a snow storm. I've only had them come on a couple times.
