2013 SLK250
Time to buy
We have an SLK 250 now and had a ML350 years ago.Wife now what E300.Went to the dealer and most cars in stock sticker around $60,000 to $ 63,000.We live in south Florida.What should I expect for a discount off MSRP?

Now is the best time to pick up a next to nothing 2017 model, Demo if possible. Our E400 with 4K km all in was priced at $102,163 out the door which included Premium Package, Exclusive Package, Tech package 18 inch AMG wheels, heated rear seats, Air Body Control suspension plus 3M wrap, floor mats with about $4200 in criminal deal fees, for PDI, nitrogen fee, registration fees etc. The car went for $82.8K and at almost $20K off list - that's what I call a deal. Picking it up tomorrow, I haven't even seen it yet except for pictures.

In Canada we don't have the E300 for 2017 they are coming for 2018. Today you can get either the E400 or E63. In Canada MB is doing $8.5K discount on all E 2017 classes - I guess this dealer is very motivated to move stock.

We spec'd a 2018 custom order up to 72K after it was optioned. We got $7500 off sticker and a fair deal on our trade in. As previously stated, shoot for 10% off.

I agree with going for a loaner or demo vehicle- the dealer gets paid by MB to help move these so you (as did I) get a phenomenal deal. Mine was in the loaner fleet for 3 months, had 1300 miles on it and I got 14k off the $65,000 sticker price (21.5%)

Now is NOT the time to buy in S. Florida due to the snowbirds. Call a few dealers out-of-state and get some pricing from them and see if you can get the locals to match it. I remember the Naples dealer's saleman being quite blunt that with the snowbirds in town they weren't discounting much, but suggested I call out of state where they didn't have such seasonal fluctuations.
I'd agree with the others -- try to find a '17 as they are very motivated to move those.
