New E400 Sedan Owner - Driver door keeps locking up
Hi All - Thank you all experts for their advice and help. I just recently leased a 2018 E400 sedan. Fantastic car and takes a lot out of my stressful bumper to bumper traffic with the P3 package.
One thing that has me bummed out is that the driver door keeps locking up. Does not happen all the time but maybe once every other say where I will approach the car with the key in my pocket and the driver door will not open even with pressing the unlock button on the key fob. Also note that all other 3 door work. So I have to enter from the passenger door and open the drivers door with the indoor handle. Additionally I am not able to lock the door with touching the sensor on the handle.
Any idea is there is a setting somewhere that I need to play with?

When you walk away and lock the car are you using the handle or hitting the fob lock icon twice? Hitting the lock icon twice will disable the fobs NFC capabilities to prevent theft boosting of the key. IE: Your key is near the front door on a hook at home, criminal 1 stands close to door with booster and criminal 2 stands next to car with transmitter and the signal is linked and the car thinks your are walking up with the key, unlocks and is able to start.
