Auto Brake
Just realized a few times already that my 2018 p2 e300 will automatically hit the brakes if it senses someone driving past or towards me when the back up camera is on. Also, it stops when im about to hit the curb or so. Just realized if I was ever in a situation where I would have to run over or smash through something due to an emergency, it would never let me.... not realistic that an event like that would happen, but it kind of bothered me that when a moment like that does occur, I would not be able to move forward.
Not sure if this is a p2 and above function. But does this bother anyone now that I bring it up to light?.

Braking will take place anytime the system believes there is a risk of collision. It can also happen with certain settings and detected speed limits. The issue with speed limits is the system detects school limits but does not know if they are in effect. I've been going the 45 mph speed limit and the car slammed on the brakes because of a 15 mph speed limit sign, but the system can't read the effective hours.
