Fragrance question

I have mine set to High but if I'm honest I don't really get a sense of the fragrance in the car. Some questions:

Is it common that even on High it's not that prominent a fragrance (Fireside something or other is the parfum)
Does having Ionization on as well diminish the fragrance?
Is it really just a, unbox and push into the slot, installation? I mean it can't be done incorrectly right?

It might be that the car is new (less than a week old) so perhaps the 'new car' smell is masking it?

Mine's very noticeable, even on Low. I'd suggest taking the flacon out and re-seating it. I have had mine slightly off before and noticed the fragrance wasn't noticeable until it was properly aligned.

Also, the trick is that you have to have it on AUTO climate control. If not, you will smell it once a week....
