I'm hoping to get a better understanding of Air Body Control as I look to purchase an E400. How is it different from Dynamic Body Control selective dampening? Which suspension will give me a sportier ride? Are there three suspension options on the E-class, or just two? Very confused.

"Sportier" meaning less smooth and feeling more of the road, go with selective dampening steel suspension. For less road feel and a smoother ride, go for air suspension which is also adjustable. This is of course subjective and you should test drive vehicles with both types.
