Anyone tried to lease a CPO?

I love our E300 but an S-class has always been on my bucket list. A new one though would cost a lot of money and my marriage. But does anyone know if you can get competitive money factor / residuals on a 3 year old Mercedes that's CPO?

I highly doubt first of all they would lease a 3 year old vehicle. Plus the pricing will not be attractive at all. Just my thought, but I am very confident about this.

I've never understood why. The depreciation over three years should be less, and while the interest rate may not be subvented, interest rates on used car purchases are not much higher than new car purchases (maybe a 0.5% difference).

The terms probably wouldn't be as good. MB can lose money on a new car lease as long as it moves metal. But on a used car, if they're not making money on it, they're not going to do the deal. Remember, the new car lease is from MB. They want to move new metal. With used, residual or money factor won't be as good as new.

The point is, what will they do with the used car when it comes back. By that time it will be 6 years old. They do not want to own it.
