AMG Performance Exhaust System: On/Off
Does anyone know if you can turn the AMG Performance Exhaust System on and off by the flick of a switch or press of a button? If you can and it’s turned off, is it just as quiet when it’s turned off as if you didn’t have the system at all? Thanks for your input.

Depends on the car!
If you have a 63 model, then there is a switch that controls the valves. I have ridden in a few cars with this feature and it does a great job at muting the sharp noises that come from the exhaust (shifts, sharp acceleration). That said, don't forget the fact that AMG models are known for the great sound they produce!
If you have a 43 model, there is no button. The valves default to closed and only open up in "sport +" mode. The sound of the car changes dramatically when they are open. Sounds great!
