those who own a car with lunar blue paint, are you happy with the color choice? How is the paint holding up against visible swirls etc? We are planning to place an order for E53, would love to hear your thoughts?

I've only had mine 6 months and its garage parked. With those caveats, it looks a beautiful as the day I bought it. Whatever you do, don't get the piano black center console. It scratches far too easily and even before that, it takes away from the other high end finishes in the car.

No problems here, but like CarFan1's car, mine is kept in the garage when not in use. Love the color!

My cavansite blue metallic E63s is parked outside and is still inn perfect condition.
I decided that I want to keep it that way so I got it wrapped 4 months old (2 weeks ago)

This color was the only choice for me and I would choose it again

I haven't had the opportunity to see the Lunar Blue in person many times. The one time I did see it -- on a cloudy day -- it looked almost like black. Curious to ask those who have had it for a while -- does it only look noticeably blue under bright sunlight?

My wife's SLK is in Lunar Blue going on 7 years old now. It looks blue in almost any light. It has also held up well with regards to swirls/scratches. It is one of my favorite MB colors.

I'm very happy with the Lunar Blue color of my 2018 E400C. I've received a lot of compliments on the car. It's a very deep, rich blue that might look almost black at a quick glance on a very dark day or at night, but that's also true of a navy-blue blazers too, and I love those. BTW, I have the natural-grain black-ash wood trim, which has given me no problems, and which looks great with the car's back interior. problems

It can look black at night or on cloudy days.

However, with the sun on it the color lights up the view in a perfect way.

A couple pictures of my S213 E63S in Cavansite blue (Lunar blue in the US)

The first picture is from before the wrapping while the second is taken inside the workshop at job some months after wrapping.
The wrap is done with clear polyurethan-wrapping with self healing capabilities.

I got my lunar blue E300 in July. Thought it might be hard to keep clean as it is pretty dark so I had the paint ceramic coated. Seems to be working as it stays pretty clean for many weeks without washing. Looks as good as the day I bought it.

Another Lunar Blue owner and like many, my car is garaged at work and at home. I also had my car ceramic coated and on top of that a pure carnauba wax. While I've only had the car a few weeks now. I suspect even with all that, swirl marks are invevitable, but will be minimized. It's a truly beautiful color though!
