Sorry to see that. I don't know that my car will be here in time for the loyalty discount either, so I may be right there with you.

Even if it's not at the dealership, it's in your dealerships inventory. If they can't have it physically on the 31st, ask your sales manager to sell it to you on the 31st, then deliver it the day it arrives.

I know, he told me. But MB has not transferred it to him yet…hopefully, it will happen….but there is a risk associated with taking possession of a vehicle without seeing it and inspecting it!!! It may not be worth the monetary discount.

I am a part time AZ resident. Ordered a AMG E53 today for production 12/2D/2018. Probably will not see it until March or so. I hope yours arrives soon. Please post pictures!

The dealership just called. While they still don't have the exact show up at the dealer date, it was transferred to the dealerships inventory by MBUSA, which means my car is on a car carrier truck on its way to the dealership. This is definitely WOO HOO NEWS!

I was surprised to hear that the car carriers are working throughout the weekend to get cars to the dealerships. I don't know if that has anything to do with month end coming up, but I'm sure the dealerships want ordered cars out of inventory as fast as they can get them out the door. I hope this is good for your car too!

Right now, with MB’s sales down about 6% or so, I am sure that MBUSA is pushing all buttons to get their new inventory out there. Right now, we are just waiting for good news starting Monday. Good luck with your new set of MB wheels.

Since the status on my car changed this morning to invoiced to dealer inventory, maybe yours did as well?

MORE GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!! My dealer just called and they received a manifest from the carrier showing the car will arrive at the dealership today! There will be no way they can prepare it today and have the Nano Tint or the Ceramic coating applied, so I'll be able to get it either Monday or Tuesday at the latest.

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
Wow, thats good news, I see you are in Florida too. I'm in Venice. I'm really looking forward to getting my E450 this coming week, it should be in at the dealer on Tuesday or Wednesday. This 450 will be a great daily driver for me as I drive about 30K miles per year. Just watched a good review last night, I did not realize that the motor for 2019 is totally different than the 2018 E400. I thought they just did a tune to up the HP to 362. It is the same motor they use in the E43 AMG apparently.

I believe that the 2018 E400, the 2019 E450 and the 2019 E43 AMG all use the same engine, just different tuning to achieve different HP and torque. All are V6 biturbos.
For next year, projected;
Can anyone confirm or correct, please?
For next year, projected;
- the E450 V6 is to receive the i6 48 volt hybrid system with an increase in both HP and torque and better fuel economy..
- the E300 will become the E350 with an i4 48 volt hybrid system. projected HP and torque are over 300 and better fuel economy.
Can anyone confirm or correct, please?

I live in Jupiter, FL. The V6 in the 450 is a sweet engine now with a bit more HP than the one I had on the 2018 E400 convertible. I am curious how the new I6 will drive and perform. From what I have read, it is another great engine from MB. Enjoy your new 🚗.

Jtk44. You are correct on the V6’s currently employed by MB. They are basically the same with different tuned output to generate increased HP. The one in the CLS, for example for 2019, is the new I6 with a mild Hybrid motor between the rear of the engine and transmission.

The I6 engine that "may" come in the 2020 (not confirmed at all) is an inline 362HP with the 48v hybrid system
There is no confirmation the E300 will be replaced with the E350. It could be replaced with the 255HP engine upgrade that came out in the C300 this year.
All we can do is guess at the 2020 options.

That video is somewhat amusing. The guy really doesn't have a clue what he's talking about for the most part. He's wrong about the engine. The E400 and E450 are really the same engine, but the E450 has been tuned to have 32 more HP. The E43 AMG is 396HP (0 - 60 in 4.5 seconds as opposed to 0 - 60 5 seconds in the E450)

Ahhh, that makes sense. I think the video with this guy that posted he made it sound like they were all different V6's. Looks like with a additional tune this engine is capable of producing well over 400 HP. Does not really need it though as it sounds like performs very adequately as it stands. Here is another good information video about the new E450. This wagon looks sort of like the one I'm getting only mine will have the Luxury front end with the hood ornament. This guy in this video must have been a radio announcer before he was a car salesman, lol.

Still no call saying the carrier arrived with my car. Doesn't much matter as they couldn't have it ready today anyway, so whether it comes tomorrow or Monday will be just fine.
