Right now my sights are set on an E53- primarily for the inline 6 and EQ Boost. That new engine is already in S-class cars elsewhere in the world, the new CLS and of course AMG E53 coupe and sedan. It seems like it'll be the future for MB engines

but if anyone has found any sources as to if/when US cars will get the i6, or EQ Boost, I'd appreciate the links. John

If you're interested in learning about the 2020 GLE coming next year, pop over to the SUV forum for GLE (W166) and there's a long thread about the upcoming W167.

CLS53, E53 Coupe, cabrio and sedan all arrive this fall. My guess is that they're saving the I6 for the facelift for the E450 models. The current S-Class may be it for the 2020 model year, but that's really hard to say. It'd be nice to have the European S500 on U.S. roads.
