Top seat option - multi countoured, cooled seats on the W213 vs the latest S
Has anyone tried out the multi contoured massaging seats on the E and S class (latest models?) Is there a difference?
I'll save people the details as to why I'm asking but this is a very serious question for me. I have made a similar post re: seats on the S class forum if people want to know.
I would genuinely appreciate advice here.

I felt the contour settings on both helped with back support. i did not try the message feature etc. I really liked the dynamic multi contour seat in E as the seat support adjusts during curves and cornering. Don't remember if the S class had dynamic multi contour seating or not.

The seat massage on the GLS is "meah". The seats on the E43 are the "bomb". I love the active bolsters and the massage includes the seat cushion making it much better than on the GLS. In fact, they much better and comfortable than the optional AMG sport seats on the E63. I'm certain the new S class seats are just as good if not better.

Ya I have them, it's a nice bragging feature. I personally like deep tissue massage which you don't get. You definitely feel it though. The cooled seats are also ok, when I think of cooled seats.. I want it to kick out ice cubes, sometimes I forget it's on. There's another function button and it's to move the passenger seat from the driver seat controls. I use it when people domt know how to operate they seat adjustments.

I have not driven the new S class. From photos, the seats look different. As far as I know the S class has always had its own seats, the same thing applies to the E and C classes. The main issue with "real amg" seats such as on the E63 is that they are race oriented, as such, comfort suffers.

I have them in my 2018 E coupe. Feels like a small, very weak child pushing on your back. Not much of a massage, but I use it a lot anyway.
