E63 S: Is it possible to have the black from the ED1 without having the ED1 package?
I simply love the black matte color specific to the Edition 1 on the AMG E63 S. but contrary to the Selenite gray of the ED1, the black is not available without the ED1 pack. don't understand why.
has anyone been able to get this without the ED1?

If it's not listed as a standalone option, you likely can't. MB bundles features in their cars like most manufacturers do. Ask you dealer if the option can be had independently, but likely it can't.

yeah, it seems it's not possible. there are some colors available or not depending on the country, but not the black matte. the only solution is getting a vinyl wrap or something like that.
i wish MB would provide more customization options. like Porsche. don't understand why they are so tight in their options. if the client is willing to pay, give him what he wants

I have that car and it is the exclusive Edition 1 color option. Neither the color or the option can be had in the US.
I love the color and makes the E63s truly unique. Has blue sparkles in the paint in the sun.
