2018 E300 P2 package lag?

anyone notice a lag when the car is rolling down the street and say u want to take a left at an intersection, you press the gas while ur rolling to GO but it taks 2 seconds for the car to kick in and then it shoots forward.

anyway to fix or mitigate this?

.
I've never experienced that problem. I usually drive in sport mode. What driving mode are you using? Driving mode affects throttle response.

I'm not sure that's accurate info. The transmission does have a learning mode but with 5000 miles or more on the odometer it definitely should know your driving style at this point. I'd recommend asking another dealer to look at it. In the interim, consider using sport mode for the transmission which will at least minimize the likelihood that you will experience the hesitation you describe.

i usually drive in comfort during street driving, sport or sport + it's too jerky to drive in those modes on the streets... gets annoying.. but thank you guys i will ask another dealer to get their thoughts.

A car
Based on what I read it is a dealer only thing. On my car and other older Benzes, one can reset it themselves, but based on my Googling on your car it requires the dealer. Otherwise, check your manual.
