Especially in the morning when pulling out of the garage into a sharp turn-a-round space, the front end vibrates on the left side very badly; even going forward the vibration continues until driving straight down the road. It seem louder and worse on the left side; it's a E350, 2008 4matic sedan.

Mechanic says power steering is ok.

What could it be?

Is it on full lock? Seems the glc 4matic has juddering issues on full lock and I have seen reference to "binding" on full lock in an eclass 4matic review somewhere. It is seemingly a tyre issue as glc owners in the uk are being offerred replacement tyres.
