Just ordered my E300 and could use some advice

Go with your instinct. I have driven the E300's and have had a E400 Convertible. Personally, I am not a big fan of 4 cylinder engines. Yet, I am driving a C300 with an I4 as a rental and the gas mileage and performance has been great. So there you go. Do the test drive as others have recommended and then decide. You need to be satisfied for the next 3 years or so. Good luck with whatever engine you choose.

Darn it the other problem is if I switch I have to start my wait all over again. Now I am about 5 to 9 weeks out from mine being delivered... But I gotta make sure I'm pleased I guess.
