All my contacts finally syncd last night. Don’t know why they would not before. I tried the connect app again and it still says not functional. Guess I’ll give it another 24 hours.

Try another 72 or more hours. I got my car Tuesday and nothing with Mercedes Me Connect works yet.

I just noticed when you first log onto the main page of Mercedes connect on my iPhone there is a line right below the functions which are still loading that shows progress. Looks like I’m about halfway there at this point. It takes a lot of time that’s for sure.

Yep, I've been halfway there now for 3 days with no further movement whatsoever.

So, MBUSA just called and while I was on the phone, they had me go to my car and push the SOS and Me Connect buttons at the same time for 10 seconds. This disconnected my car from the mother ship server, in Germany no less. Then the system supposedly reconnects and they're hoping over the next 48 hours, it will permit Mercedes Me Connect to sync with my car. In the meantime, they had me sign out of the app altogether and I'm not supposed to sign back in until Sunday morning, when they're going to call me at home to see if we can get the two systems to speak to each other. If that doesn't work, they said I'll have to take the car to the dealership for some software refresh for the Me Connect system. Isn't it fun being testers for new software and systems?

The same issue is happening to me too. I have a C300 coupe. I got the car about a month ago and initially I had no problem but then since a week ago it started to pop up.

This morning came and went without the phone call from the lady who PROMISED to call this morning. So, I logged back into Me Connect and voila........NOTHING. Another call to the Me Connect folks, the standard apologies, but they said nothing could happen till tomorrow as the engineers don't work on the weekend. She did say there were a number of people in my situation. Some people log in and boom the app connects and that's that. Then I guess there are cars like mine that for some reason just won't connect. I'm not letting them off the hook. They HAVE to get this app working.

I'm having the same issue everything is loading but it's taking forever. I've talked with customer support many times and it seems it just does not want to work so they opened a case tonight and will follow up this coming week. I did a long drive today to Sanabel Island and back and hoped everything would load and it would work by the time I got home, nope. Got a message already from ATT today that I'm nearly up to my 1 gig of Data already on my account in the car just from using internet radio. To me it's worth it to have the hot spot and the internet radio so I'll pay the 20 dollars per month like I've done with my 2018 AMG. One thing I do find weird on the new app is it does not show a picture of my white 450 but instead a picture of a diamond grill which my car does not even have. On the pre 2019 Mercedes Me app I use on my 2018 it shows a picture of my car. It will be interesting to see if I ever do get this new app working if a picture of my white 450 appears on the app. I have to keep using the separate original app for the 2018 as only the 2019's can use this new app with all the expanded functions.

I too stream music a lot in my car, so it was a no brainer to go ahead and sign up for the unlimited data plan from AT&T. I'm sorry you're also having issues with Me Connect. But it does help to know it's not just me.

Have you had any luck getting the Me Connect up and running? Still nothing on my end.

Just had my afternoon call with the Me Connect team. Still no progress. Hard to fathom, but no one in the US is capable of figuring out Me Connect issues. The programming team is located in some town in Germany and there is a case for me with that team. The lady said for others (yes, evidently this is a known issue), it can take weeks for this to be resolved. I love Mercedes cars. Their apps, not so much.

Nope I've had no luck. Had a long conversation yesterday with a gal name Ingrid in Miami @ Mercedes me. But no luck, we went through all kinds of things. Everything still says loading with the 3 flashing dots moving back and forth on my cell phone. They opened a case for me yesterday too. I'm not gonna worry about it for now, the main thing is the car is great, had a nice ride to and from Sanibel Island yesterday to the Blues fest there, very few people there was a threat of rain I guess that's why. I even left the car outside in my driveway last night hoping it would load whatever it needs to download if the car was out in the open rather than in the garage. I'm about to head to the store now, my hope is maybe by some fluke everything is loaded and when I start driving the car the app will start working, and then I woke up lol. It's weird some cars everything loads right up and goes smooth like it should and others like yours and mine seems hopeless. Maybe Mercedes does not like Florida or something, lol. The good thing is for whatever reason I'm not getting that something went wrong error message anymore, must have been a bug in the software they fixed already. I've now deleted and download back again the app 3x. The woman I spoke with yesterday told me they are constantly updating it.

Similar, if not identical experience on my end. Deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times. Same flashing dots on the app and at the Website for Me Connect. Loads of "I'm sorry" from the Me Connect peeps. I'm sorry you're also having this issue, but it gives me hope that I'm not alone. I've decided its Rick Scott's fault. Yes, that's it, it's his fault!

One full week since taking delivery of my E450 and no closer to having a functioning Mercedes Me Connect app. They say it's been "escalated" to some team in some little town in Germany, which means I don't get any updates from anyone. The car is great. The App SUCKS. That's today's story and I'm sticking with it.

such a shame. The app is good i use it a lot. If it is any consolation i still cannot connect to the internet in the car service. Visited the garage today and they cannot understand what the issue is. The provider SFR is rubbish and not responding so i shall just not use the service and they will loose the income. Lose lose for everyone.
mercedes do need to up their game in this area and i shall mark them harshly in the opinion survey.

Sorry you can't get the internet up and running in your Benz. That was one thing that worked immediately in mine. I used the Send To Benz (what it was referred to in Mercedes Me app) to pre-send addresses to my car and have the address ready to start navigation a lot. But with the 2019's, you can't use the Mercedes Me app. With some of the other goodies bundled in Me Connect, I'll be one angry camper if they can't get it up and running. And I too anxiously wait for the "how'd we do" survey for the new car purchase.

I am having exactly the same connection problems in the UK. 5 days since took delivery but the Mercedes Me Connect cannot ‘see’ my car.

My case has also been escalated to an engineer in Germany. Frustrating, but car is fantastic!

I'm sorry you're having the same issue, but am comforted to know there are others. If I was the only person on the planet with this, I fear Mercedes wouldn't do anything for me. With others, surely they'll have to address it.

Sounds like they are gonna be busy in Germany. Same story with me. Still just those three flashing dots on all the functions. I check the app about three times a day lol. I got so mad at att today. A few days ago I spent an hour with a guy from att getting my extra data all set up. I had practically run out of the complimentry one gig included. I kept getting emails all day today from att saying I was just about up to my cap. I agree with the guy from att to pay an extra 25 a month and assumed it was all set up. Today the transferred me from one dept to the next and wasted a lot more of my time. I think it is set now. At least I’m not seeing the limited internet message anymore. Good day though today though. I think I’m gonna be getting a e53 amg convertible soon once it get released from VPC. That will be my toy car. I’m up to. 1000 miles already on the e450 wagon. This car will be my workhorse lol.
