Well you are absolutely right. If I can get an E63/s cab, I can't wait to sign the check. I was in the same position.... But I love the E-Class interior, the 2 x 12.x screens and the bigger felling in the E Class. The 63 is the top line. So bad... C63 cab, S63 cab no E63 cab. But... E63/s its over my budget. Maybe in 3 years, next step to work on.

Very happy with my E450 Cabriolet. Performance is fine no problem there and I traded in a 2018 E63 Wagon plus cash for it. Yes off course the E63 was a lot faster, it's 603 HP vs 362 HP, but 362 is more than enough. I got over the rush of massive acceleration a while ago and at this point I'd rather just be comfortable and not put my drivers license at risk, I live in a very tough state, I'd get on the e63 sometimes coming on highways and sometimes other people would try and race. A law enforcement officer wittiness's that and thats drag racing in addition maybe reckless driving and way exceeding the speed limit. I just can't afford to risk my drivers license in that way. I need to do a lot of driving and were I to loose my license it would really change my lifestyle. In reality I enjoy driving the E450 Cabriolet much more than the E63 AMG, much more comfortable and smooth and nothing like having the top down driving in the Florida sunshine.

Yea those are all good points! I just had a huge smile on my face driving that C63.

An E63 is a whole different beast, and its also about 35k more than the price range of an E53/C63.

Just from what i've seen and am reading the new C has a 12.3 inch and 10.3 inch screen which is pretty comparable to the E's setup, but I like the dual long screen display better in the E. Also they made the ride a bit more comfortable in the new C63 as well with the suspension and gearbox. Drivers assistance and most of the packages now seem the same. I think this is due to the mid-cycle refresh on the C class and the E is probably going to get all new equipment in 2020.

I went back and forth alot on it but C63 was just so fun to drive! I'm sure you'll be happy with the 450 or 53 and i'm def jealous of the Cab in that Florida sun!

43, 53, 450. Doesn’t matter to me as none of these cars are worthy of an AMG badge on the back.

Great marketing gimmick though, making people pay 10-15k more for 450s and 530s by calling them 43, 53 and putting an AMG badge on it 😂.

Got a 2019 E53 with 6k miles for 57k , i think its a great ****ing car if you wait for an idiot to take the gigantic deprecation hit first. I replaced a totaled 63 S, i don't miss the power tbh, for city driving the 53 is superior in everyway. It does lack the top end of the 63 on the highway tho.

Congratulations!

Price seems to be very good: KBB.com has the price range for trade in value, $55,000 to $59,000!

Thanks! yeah price was awesome. About 6-7k underpriced compared to the nearby bigger citie's stealerships. There was two at that price at my stealership and within the week they showed up they got sold. I think i got the better of the two, other one was same mileage, white but with no carbon fiber interior trim and no 360 camera (who the f orders a E53 with no 360 camera, the mind boggles)

Ya I agree, no camera is a strange one, great way to take out the front facia with a curb. No question though, the car does not have to be a genuine AMG, I had a E63 AMG wagon 2018, didn't care for that car and only had it a year and traded it for 2019 E450 Cabriolet, great car. Tons of low end power out of the twin turbo V6. Plus have a E450 Wagon which really feels more like a sports car than a wagon, pretty amazing.
