Hello guys. I have always wanted to own a Mercedes but did happen yet. I am finally in a financially stable position to be able to afford it. I am looking to buy a 2015/2016 E400 coupe. I have been told by some Mercedes owners to dont buy it unless it is CPO with warranty.
I would like to know how has your experience been with CPO Mercedes cars and is it worth the extra 6-7K over non-CPO. Also if you own a non CPO car, is it really that bad in terms of service costs?
Also any other guidance towards buying my first Mercedes. Thanks!!

As a general rule, buy CPO. It comes with an extended warranty and has been gone over by Mercedes technicians to ensure the car is in tip top shape. The only way I'd not buy a CPO Mercedes is if I had the opportunity to purchase from someone I knew, who took great care of the their car and had all the service records to validate they took care of the car.
