I had the media update this morning signal its completion. Now, I'm hoping it resolved the FLAC album track playback issue in US cars.

in the 1.5 years i'ver had my car, it tried to update the maps only once.
then it got stuck for about a week, and i ended up updating manually again.
never since seen any other updates (not for maps nor comand)

After reading this thread, I went on to MB USA website and saw that my 18 E400 coupe came with 3 years of free map upgrades. Since, I had an appointment coming up, I called the SR and told him to add it to the list.

You can see if it will update automatically by going to the NAVI, use comand to slide right, and then scroll down to software update. It should show the status there.
