Trunk Emblem Fell Off....
Has anyone's trunk emblem fallen off? The other night it was around 1 degree in NJ and as I closed the trunk I heard something fall. I quickly ran back and saw that my emblem snapped off, I understand its cold.... but I don't think it should snap off an emblem!?!? lol.
The dealership is saying its not covered under warranty because its a damage.....

There are plastic retaining grommets mounted from behind to hold Star emblem in place, model plate is glued. Both should be covered under warranty.

If ever they was a warranty case this is it. Even in cold weather, your trunk emblem shouldn't just fall off. You didn't do anything to damage it.
