Nothing about dash cams that are illegal (here in the US). If they can get away with semi self driving vehicles they could certainly offer up a dashcam option. You're quite correct about Corvette utilizing them.

Because mercedes cant even get remote start to function properly, you want to have a dashcam? you have to wait another 5 or 10yrs for that tech to come in. maybe with the new ux they'll implement it.

I've never had an issue with remote start. It works every time. I use it 1 or more times a day. What do you do to break it?

The app-based remote start is hit and miss for me in both my '16 C450 and my '17GLC43. I have not been impressed with Mbrace/Mercedes Me. Very poor implementation.

Agreed; it's a joke really. what especially pissed me off is that they take away certains functions whenever they fee like it. functions that came with th car when you bought it….
