I just noticed my seat belts outlet (adjusting the the seat belt shoulder height. attached the image) from both driver and passage seats do not lock in place.
It will go up a setting without need to press and hold the outlet, but once it goes up a setting you will need to press and hold to come down.
For example, if I set the outlet to the lowest setting it does not lock it at the lowest setting. if i just push the outlet and pull the seat belt up, it will just keep going up.
it this normal or by design? i remember all the cars i have will just lock in at a setting. Does not seem safe for the outlet to go up freely.
any input on this will be greatly appreciated. seat belt outlet
