I'm not too good with leases (I almost always buy since leases have too many of these type fees), but I think it is pretty standard. I've read a little that some dealers pad this number and inflate it to over $1k and sometimes it can be negotiated down by using an employee/fleet discount. Doesn't hurt to ask or better yet, call another dealership, act interested in a vehicle, and ask what their fees are.
Good luck!

Just my $.02:
I have been leasing Audi, BMW, Porsches, Fords, Hondas, Subarus and Mercedes (they may have been others as well) for over 30 years.
The acquisition fee is set by the leasing company, for Mercedes, that would be MB financial - if that is the leasing company you are using. I do not recommend using a leasing company other than the financial arm of the manufacturer - even if it is cheaper. If you lease from a non manufacturer financial, often at the end of the lease they will nickel and dime you to death. MB financial will not, as they want you back as a repeat customer.
So to answer your questions: The lease acquisition fee is a set fee and is non negotiable.
