Owner of a 2013 E350 wagon here.

I was trying to find information on the E450 Wagon's suspension, but the spec sheets at mbusa.com are insufficient.

Does the base (non-ABC) wagon still have air suspension in the rear? Steel in the front?

Does adding Active Body Control put air suspension at both the front and the rear?

Any cautionary tales? I had a leak in a rear hose on my '13 five years in; took the dealership two tries to fix it. Extended warranty saved the day.

As you mention mbusa, I presume you’re in the US. I can’t speak to configurations in other countries, but in the US, the E450 wagons all have air rear suspension with conventional springs up front. The ABC models add air to the front as well. I have ABC on mine.

Pretty sure that is the case in the UK as well. My Estate has ABC with air all round

S213 has standard air springs in the rear, steel in the front.
