My drivers door will not stay in the open position dealer says it’s normal

My kids are always playing chicken with my Cab’s long, seemingly 600 lb doors. I would agree they really, really like to be closed.

I noted that for my first service visit. The dealer ordered replacement upper hinges for both front doors. I believe that there was a service campaign for that issue.

On level ground, my doors latch fully open without fail. And my car is 3 year old.

Amazing how LAZY some dealers are...
