Found my hidden snare drum
My 2018 E-300 was sporadically making a vibrating noise when I was on a somewhat rough road. On a nice smooth road, it would go away. The sound echoes around, and it’s difficult to locate. Sometimes I thought it was coming from the dash. Other times I thought it was from the plastic area in front of the rear view mirror.
I FINALLY realized it was coming from the driver’s sun visor. I pushed up on the visor, and the noise went away. The last time I used it, I must have not pushed it completely up against the roof.
Maybe I’m the only weirdo that will encounter this issue, but I thought I’d share, in case it helps anyone. It was driving me batty!
